CHARLOTTE, NC (March 8, 2007) — The Hydraulic Institute retained SELMARQ, a Charlotte-based marketing firm, to design their main Web site (www.pumps.org), and the Pump Systems Matter™ site (www.PumpSystemsMatter.org). SELMARQ also created a logo for Pump Systems Matter and updated the HI logo and stationery design.
Based
in Parsippany, NJ, the Hydraulic Institute (HI) is the largest association
of pump industry manufacturers in North America. Pump Systems Matter is
an HI educational initiative designed to assist manufacturers in reducing
the amount of energy used by pumps as well as lowering overall pump operating
cost. A Flash presentation on the site illustrates the total cost
of pump system ownership.
“We
are very pleased with the work that SELMARQ has done to help us communicate
an abstract concept to pump end-users, utilities and manufacturers,” noted
Robert Asdal, Executive Director of HI. “Significant cost savings
are possible with pumping systems that are designed to operate at their
best efficiency point and with total life cycle cost in mind. End-users
benefit from impressive bottom-line savings.”
The 90-year-old Hydraulic Institute serves member companies and pump users
worldwide by developing comprehensive industry standards, expanding knowledge
by providing education and tools, and serving as a forum for the exchange
of industry information. To learn about the Hydraulic Institute contact
