SELMARQ® Attends Local Trade Shows
CHARLOTTE, NC (March 12, 2009) — This month Charlotte hosted two conferences and expositions. SELMARQ president, Jeff Rothe, attended both the 2009 AWWA/WEF Information Management & Technology plus the Design & Manufacturing South and South Pack Shows.
The 2009 Customer Service AWWA/WEF Information Management & Technology provided attendees with five days of education sessions, workshops and exhibitors with the latest advances in product technology and related innovative ideas. The show had over 30 exhibitors and over 20 education sessions and workshops. American Water Works Association presented this conference and exposition. The mission of the AWWA is “the exchange of information pertaining to the management of water-works, for the mutual advancement of consumers and water companies, and for the purpose of securing economy and uniformity in the operations of water-works.”
Design & Manufacturing South and South Pack were part of the South’s largest two-day design, processing, automation, and packaging event. Canon Communications LLC produced and managed the South’s largest design, processing, automation, and packaging event, which includes Design & Manufacturing South, South Pack, AM Expo, ATX South, Plastec South Pavilion, PTX South, Powder & Bulk Solids Southeast, Green Manufacturing Expo, MetalTec, and Plant Engineering South. Over 490 exhibitors provided attendees with new technologies to help improve productivity and quality. The event also included conference programs in Lean Manufacturing and Processing.
